LG's V30 TO SELL FOR $749 IN THE US
LG's V30 is now official and it's going to end up being a pretty fantastic option🏻 for a lot of buyers, but LG has been quiet so far on two very important details.
Despite knowing everything about the phone itself, LG hasn't officially stated when it will go on sale nor how much it will cost. Through the terms and conditions for the contest, LG quietly says that the LG V30 is priced at $749 (first spotted on Reddit).
That means that pricing could change between models, carriers, and regions, but it's a safe bet that LG is going to stick close to $749. It offers the same specifications if not improving on other current Android flagships, all for a lower price compared to its primary competition in the Note 8 and Galaxy S8+.

First Drug for treatment of cancer approved by the US
The US has approved the first treatment to redesign a patient's own immune system so it attacks cancer. The regulator - the US Food and Drug Administration - said its decision was a "historic" moment and medicine was now "entering a new frontier". The therapy, which will be marketed as Kymriah, works against acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
The company Novartis is charging $475,000 (£367,000) for the "living drug" therapy, which leaves 83% of people free of a type of blood cancer. Doctors in the UK said the announcement was an exciting step forward. The living drug is tailor-made to each patient, unlike conventional therapies such as surgery or chemotherapy.
It is called CAR-T and is made by extracting white blood cells from the patient's blood. The cells are then genetically reprogrammed to seek out and kill cancer. The cancer-killers are then put back inside the patient and once they find their target they multiply.

Kenyan Election declared "Null and Void" by supreme court
Kenya’s supreme court has nullified Uhuru Kenyatta’s win in the presidential election last month and ordered a new vote within 60 days. The six-judge bench ruled 4-2 in favour of a petition filed by the opposition candidate Raila Odinga, who claimed that the electronic voting results were hacked into and manipulated in favour of the incumbent. Kenyatta had won a second term with 54% of the vote.
“The declaration [of Kenyatta’s win] is invalid, null and void,” said the judge David Maranga, announcing the verdict. The court did not place any blame on Kenyatta or his party. Odinga said: “It’s a very historic day for the people of Kenya and by extension the people of Africa. For the first time in the history of African democratisation, a ruling has been made by a court nullifying [the] irregular election of a president. This is a precedent-setting ruling.”
Lawyers for Kenyatta described the nullification as a “very political decision” but said they would live with the consequences.
